Trainee Kitchen Estimator

JTC are a leading manufacturer of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture. We currently have an opening in our Estimating and Design Department.

We have designed a full in-house training programme which has proven results and upon completion the successful candidate will be able to work independently on a variety of contracts producing kitchen drawings and estimates.

Once fully trained, the main duties of the role are:

• Preparing draft estimate from Billing, Written Instructions and Architecture Drawings
• Qualify costing of bespoke items, and where necessary give details of specific material requirements and proposed method of production
• Liaising with customers to confirm orders, design details, agree prices and deal with queries
• Prepare kitchen layout drawings from architectural plans/sketches
• Prepare Order Entry handover sheets
• Maintain records
• General office administration

Job Details

Salary – starting range between £16,954 and £21,131 and once fully operational – gradual increases to circa £25/26k.

Working Pattern– 39 hours per week – Standard business hours – Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 – 15:30 (30 mins unpaid lunch break each day)

Salary: £16,954.00-£25,000.00 per year
