Position Overview & Specifications

Join the Investment & Corporate Banking Deal Services team, which partners closely with external and internal stakeholders, including clients and client legal counsels, bankers and deal team leads, credit, legal, compliance and business management to provide efficient and timely support with the execution of live deals. As a member of the team, your goal will be to assist Global Investment Banking coverage teams by providing consistent, high quality deal support and client service.

Job responsibilities

Assist the IB product and coverage teams including but not limited to:
  • Primary point of contact for bankers to coordinate & complete key transactional tasks
  • Participate in bankers' regional meetings to proactively identify areas to add value and potential roadblocks that need to be addressed
  • Provide transparency on overall process and progress
  • Monitor deal controls to ensure milestones are met & achieved in a timely manner
  • Participation in global process enhancements
  • Collaborate with business and support functions to spread and leverage best practices
  • Manage and conduct process improvement and project work with key stakeholders across the business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience & sound knowledge of investment banking products (Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital CM, M&A,ECM) as well as Global Corporate Banking products & processes
  • Comfortable dealing with clients/senior executives on a regular or ad hoc basis
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
