General Farm Worker

General farm worker required for mixed arable/veg/beef farm in the Howe of Fife. John R Graham LTD is a family farming business fattening cattle & sheep, growing cereals, vegetables and potatoes. The role will involve a large variety of work: typical duties would include cultivation work, dung spreading, irrigation, working with livestock, carting silage, bales, grain, carrots and potatoes with progression available for the correct candidate. We work with a fleet of T7 New Holland tractors from the 195 to 315, you will be given your own tractor to use and maintain but will be expected to operate in any vehicle depending on the task required.The successful candidate must be able to fit into the established workforce and work as part of the team as well as working independently using their initiative . Experience is not essential as on the job training will be given but a good attitude and work ethic are important attributes that the candidate must possess. Role would suit a hard working individual as there will be plenty of opportunities for overtime work.

Standard working hours are 7am to 5pm in the Summer and 7.30am to 4.30pm in the winter with overtime available on top. Pay & Reward: Our competitive package is in line with the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board Guidelines and salary will be dependant on the skills and experience you bring to our business and will include 30 days annual leave per annum. Driving license is essential, accommodation is available if needed.
