3.5 Tonne Driver Installer

Starting rate of pay £12.62 per hour moving to £13.62 once fully trained and accredited.

Monday to Saturday (Hours to be agreed)

37.5 hour week, 5 days a week, 4-week Rota. 2 out of 4 Saturdays with no Sunday working.

What you will be doing:

As a Driver Installer, you will openly demonstrate a passion for delivering excellence in customer experience, and safe and efficient driving and be motivated to carry out the role following legal and best practice requirements.

Acting as an ambassador for the John Lewis brand, Installers are focused on delivering and surpassing the exemplary service expected of us, they love giving amazing customer service to our loyal customers, being able to use their initiative while out driving and working as part of a team who care for each other.

As part of a 2 person crew, you will be trained to deliver, assemble and install a wide range of home furnishings, 2 person electrical products and sports equipment, ensuring every delivery is made with the highest level of customer service

We will support you every step of the way from your induction into the Partnership through to our on-site personalised training courses which will equip you with all of the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role

Once you are accredited you have the potential opportunity to move into the Technician Installer role.

What you must have:

• Category B Driving Licence

• Pass a driving assessment to the John Lewis standard.

What else you can bring but is not essential

• Experience in installing wet appliances (washing machines, dishwashers, fridge freezers etc..)

• Standard TV Installation experience

• Product Assembly experience

• Can explain the core principles of the John Lewis Partnership

Interview Process

You will take part in an individual interview and driving & manual handling assessment
