We provide a wide range of plant and equipment hire solutions to the construction, civil engineering and industrial sectors. Our Head Office is located in Grangemouth, with depots across Scotland and the North of England. We operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. As a family business with family values our main focus is on delivering excellent customer service all the times.

What part will you play in our Team?

The role of our depot LABOURER is essential to the success of our day to day operations. The Labourer will provide support to our fitters, drivers and other team members, the primary duties and responsibilities of our labourer include (but are not limited to):

• The upkeep and cleanliness of the yard
• Cleaning and maintaining plant ready for hire
• Loading, unloading and handling equipment and supplies
• Assisting the fitters with the servicing and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Adhering to our Health and Safety policies and procedures, recognise and report potential risks and or damages to plant and equipment
• Providing support in delivering excellent customer service by putting the customer to the forefront of all tasks and jobs

Am I the person for this job?

• Ideally you will have previous experience in a manual labouring role within a physically demanding environment
• Knowledge of working with plant machinery (not essential)
• Ability to work as part of a team with a can do attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
