We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented JavaScript Developer, with 2+ years
JavaScript experience to join our team. You will be joining a team that’s building a brand new SaaS product that is aiming to disrupt the virtual event market. The applicant needs to be driven by solving problems, have a collaborative nature, communicate well with the rest of the team and have attention to detail. iVent are experts in the design, management and delivery of virtual events and webinars. In the last 10 years, our platform has delivered virtual and hybrid events all over the world with top brands like KPMG, Microsoft, Jet2, National Trust, The Open
University and more.
Our stack:
● AWS SAM/Serverless/CloudFormation
● Javascript / Node JS
● DynamoDB
● Vue JS / Nuxt JS
● We use a wide range of AWS services (AWS console - CLI)
You responsibilities will include:
● Developing frontend/backend using JavaScript (Vue/Nuxt - Node JS)
● Working with the AWS console and CLI
● Implementing APIs and other integration points between the backend and other systems
● Designing and implementing new features and bug-fixes
● Resolving technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
To be successful in this role you should have:
● 2+ years experience of JavaScript and Node.js
● Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript (ES5 & ES6+)
● Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue JS
● Experience with REST API development
● Experience with AWS services
● Workable knowledge of HTML/CSS
● Strong problem-solving and communication skills
You will impress us with:
● Experience with NoSQL databases ( DynamoDB)
● Experience with Nuxt JS
● Experience working with WebSocket
● Experience developing in Serverless Application Model (SAM) - AWS
CloudFormation
● Experience working with Material Design - Vuetify
● Babylon.js
