Job Description

As Sustainability Project Manager, you will be accountable for the management and high-quality delivery of sustainability products, services, and strategic projects.

You will be working across a range of customers and internal ISS to ensure the deployment of global and local Sustainability products in line with the agreed playbooks and monitor ongoing delivery and performance.

Supporting the Head of function, you will play a part in the strategic development and refinement of blueprints, toolkits and playbooks for deployment activity in country and account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the projects to deliver sustainability products, services and change activity in line with product and project timelines, commercials and quality management
  • Support with creation and implementation standardised processes to support delivery of multiple products in multiple sectors and regions across our range of services
  • Implement and manage a robust technology focused sustainability projects and change programmes and ensuring stakeholders are brought along and bought into the changes
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for improvement and best practice across customers in UK&I in regard to Sustainability, sharing knowledge and innovation where relevant
  • Complete all required project, programme and associated documentation for Sustainability Projects in scope for UK&I, Group and Customers
  • Identify and manage risk associated with the projects in scope highlighting any business wide and/or critical risks/issues to the head of function

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications

  • A level of experience in sustainability (c.2-5 years), in managing complex projects, working across business functions with colleagues, customer and suppliers at various levels of seniority
  • Experience of working across a matrix organisation with complex RACI and stakeholder groups to manage
  • Worked within a fast-paced environment with multiple competing projects and programmes, alongside changing business priorities with the ability to prioritise these
  • Ability to use technology and automotive tools to manage projects efficiently e.g. MS Project Online, Kanban Board, Jira etc.
  • Enthusiasm, purpose-driven individual, self-starter with significant motivation to make a positive change
