SECURITY OFFICER

Interforce are recruiting professional Security Officers - immediate deployment after completion of training.

• £14.50 per hour

This role will be supporting a Government Agency in the safe management of people along the South East Coast into secure facilities in-land.

• A valid SIA SECURITY, DS or CP license is mandatory for this position.

This position will operate out of the port of Dover and Manston (near Ramsgate)

Staff will work in teams of various numbers.

All training and uniform and PPE/equipment required to carry out this role will be provided for free.

Free secure parking on site.

There is no accommodation for this assignment and so it is preferable that staff live within a 1 hour commute. You must drive and have access to transport.

All rosters will be accessible online via the company workforce management App - this shall consist of day shifts and night shifts, including weekends

Applicants must be honest, confident, and socially aware individuals with a responsible attitude and must have the ability to assess situations and react quickly. They should be resilient, tenacious and be able to remain calm in what can sometimes be hostile and emotionally charged situations. Strong leadership, confidence and communication skills are important, with the ability to work alone or as part of a professional team dealing with demanding challenges.

Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.

Mandatory 4 day Induction/Assessment/Training – taking place in Dover, venue details will be issued upon successful telephone interview. Staff will need to attend 3 days induction training. A training attendance supplement of £50 per day will be payable once you have completed the training course.

An assessment for role suitability will take place throughout the first day of induction training.

You must be available for the full 4 days induction training.

All applicants must be able to pass through a full CTC Security Clearance - this will be subject to holding a valid Passport and Right to Work in the UK status and must have lived in the UK continuously for a minimum of 3 years.

*Bank holiday is paid at time and a half rate*
