Marketing Assistant (Remote, with monthly travel to Leicester)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a remote position, but the successful applicant will need to be able to travel to Leicester once a month to attend team meetings and events. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and increase brand awareness, with a particular focus on social media content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies across multiple channels, Including:
• Social media
• Email marketing
• Ads
• Blog
• Reputation management

• Create and manage social media content, from concept to execution
• Conduct market research and analyse customer data to identify trends and insights for social media content
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to create engaging social media visuals and campaigns
• Measure and analyse the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and influencers
• Assist with other marketing and business development initiatives as needed
• Photography and/or design skills desired for creating visual content for marketing materials.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and strategies, with particular expertise in social media
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
• Some knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Must be able to travel to Leicester once a month
• Portfolio examples of creativity and social media content creation skills
