CNC Machinist

Imax Engineering Limited is a small CNC machine shop based in a scenic location in Worcestershire and has an opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to set, program and operate Fanuc controlled CNC lathes and mills.

Main Duties:

Programming, setting and operating CNC Machines mainly with Fanuc controls. Quality checking your own work. Troubleshooting and making adjustments to offset coordinates. Reading and understanding technical drawings and delivering quality work to our customers.

Skills and Background:

· Have a deep understanding of technical drawings.

· Must be able to setup, program and operate CNC machines, and work independently without supervision.

· Produce a consistently high standard of work which meet customer tolerances.

· Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.

· Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role is required.

£16p/h dependent on experience, plus overtime at 1.25x.
