Warehouse Operative - Nightshift

Here at IKEA reading e are looking to welcome warehouse operatives to our fantastic & ever-growing logistics team.

WHAT WE OFFER
Hourly rate is £11.45
£1.50 FLT allowance per hour (once trained)
£2.25 Night Shift Allowance - between the hours of 10pm and 6am

SHIFTS
We have 2 shift patterns available: working 39hrs per week 5 days over 7 with every 2nd weekend off.

10.30pm till 7am
2am till 10:30am

Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be over the age of 18.

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history.

Expected start date: 4th of June 2023

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

Warehouse experience is required for this role. Forklift license or previous forklift experience is desired however not essential as full training will be provided. All licenses are done in house regardless of previous experience.
We are looking for proactive and energetic individuals, who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. We are on the lookout for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As part of the logistics team in a store, you will be working in our goods receiving department. Your daily duties will be receiving stock, picking and checking order accuracy. We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
