Expected Starting Date: April 2023 WHAT WE OFFER• Living Wage Foundation Employer• Salary for this role is £25000.00• Working approx. 8 hours 45 minutes between 7am to 11pm.• 39 hours working 5 days out of 7 including alternate weekends and late evenings. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYAs a Food Team Leader, you will work with your team to create a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience for both the customer and the co-worker. • You will be responsible for ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, attractive, and inviting. You also ensure our products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.• Being passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.• You contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.• Promoting a safety-first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work. • As a team leader the majority of your time will be spent on the shop floor mentoring and coaching the IKEA Food Team.• You will be responsible for leading a large team of co-workers in a fast paced environment.• You will be responsible for ensuring Food Safety Regulations are followed at all times.
