Mechanical Inspectors

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for mechanical inspectors in Walsall. The role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the country.

The Role:

Within the mechanical inspector’s role, you will be working within an auction house setting ensuring the vehicles meet the standards ahead of being put into auction. Successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Oil Changes.
• Checking the correct level of fluids are present & topping up where necessary.
• Checking keys, tyres, wipers, interior and exterior lights.
• Completing under bonnet visual checks.
• Checking wheel nuts.

What kind of person we are looking for?:

• No formal qualifications required, but basic mechanical knowledge is a must.
• Must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Mechanical background experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail
