Anticoagulant Administrator / Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Anticoagulant Nursing Team in Prince Philip Hospital as an Anticoagulant Administrator/Data Clerk.

Working 29.5hrs per week, the successful candidate will be required to support the anticoagulant specialist nurses in the delivery of comprehensive administrative services within the department.

You will often be the first point of contact between patients, relatives, carers and other multidisciplinary team members and the anticoagulant specialist, so excellent communicational skills must be demonstrated.

You will undertake a wide variety of duties as part of your role, these include the handling of sensitive letters and reports, operation of the Health Board's patient data systems, organisation of the clinic diary and labelling of blood samples and data sample entry.

You will be expected to demonstrate excellent organisation skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and you must be able to work on your initiative.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
