Trainee Car Sales - Hutchings Hyundai Swansea

Hutchings Hyundai Swansea has a unique opportunity for a Sales Trainee position to join our award winning team.

Hyundai Swansea is in the top 10 highest performing dealers in the UK, selling over 1,000 new and used cars per year. The dealership is in a fantastic position to sell to customers in Swansea and also from Bridgend to Carmarthen and since its launch in August 2017 has grown each year from a sales and aftersales volume and is not slowing down.

2023 will see a good supply of all new models. Our used car business stocks multiple brands and gives our team access to over 250 used cars in Group stock to sell.

We are looking to share this success with the right candidate and train them both internally and with the manufacturer to become an expert in all areas of the job to become a successful sales professional.

The trainee position is a 5 day working week - Tuesday to Saturday.
Hours of work are: 8:30 am to 6 pm.

You will have to work hard, you will need to become a product expert, you will be expected to put in the hours to develop the technical, personal and practical skills required. This will include:

• Working outside on the used car display
• Learning to use all of the bespoke systems that will allow you to assist and eventually sell cars to your own customers
• Learning how to deal with a huge variety of customers with varying needs
• Being involved in creating and using social media to promote the business and the fantastic things Hutchings do for customers on a daily basis
• Resilience, commitment, and a passion to succeed

No previous sales experience is required but the following skills would be a significant advantage:

• Face to face customer handling skills
• Telephone skills
• Great communication skills
• A can do attitude with a willingness to be taught.
• Great IT skills
• Confidence with numbers
