ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Service Desk is the first point of contact for all IT related incidents/issues and requests. You’ll be responsible for providing 1st Line service and systems/technical support to the business. The analyst provides advice and guidance on all incoming queries/incidents, and ensures these are logged and progressed.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide a high quality, professional and informed support.
  • Provide support and guidance to personnel with regards IT equipment and the company’s services/applications.
  • Resolve incoming incidents on the first call, wherever possible, or ensure they are accurately logged and assigned to the appropriate resolution team with minimum time delay.
  • Communicate effectively with the team on any IT related incidents, ensuring any high priority and service impacting issues are escalated.
  • Pro-actively identify areas of support where training is required, and feed this back to the Group IT Service Delivery Manager
  • Liaise with resolution groups and third parties as and when necessary with regards the progression and resolution of incidents.
