Warehouse Assistant

We require a full time permanent Warehouse Assistant to work in our Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Warehouse role, the ability to check products accurately and be willing to assist in a customer facing role.

Contract:- Permanent

Hours:- Minimum of 40 hours per week on a rota basis including weekends.

Core Duties:-

• To be fully conversant with all Housing Units distribution centre/warehousing procedures and facilitate the improvement thereof. Such feedback should be provided regularly to a Manager.
• At all times should seek to operate in line with a ‘clear floor’ policy. This should include the exterior of any buildings/sites and also the vehicle boxes.
• To assist in the provision of support to any retail functions of Housing Units at all times.
• To ensure that all goods are delivered in perfect condition and that all relevant company documents are completed in the correct way.
• Demonstrate a firm commitment to achieving and exceeding DC quality targets.

The role may develop in time to a Furniture Delivery Driver. As our Furniture Delivery Driver you will be the final stage of the customer buying experience, which means the service you provide will be of the highest quality, ensuring that we meet our customer’s expectations every time.
