Head of Retail

Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Head of Retail to join our team, home based or hybrid with travel to shops throughout the region. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, our Head of Retail will receive a competitive salary of £44,536 - £50,388 per annum, plus a Car Allowance of £5,532 per annum.

Hope House Children’s Hospices are here to make sure that no one faces the death of their child alone. We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died. About the Head of Retail role:

This is an exciting time of growth for the charity’s successful retail business. As Head of Retail, you will deliver the retail strategy and be accountable for all aspects of performance, demonstrating inspiring leadership and effective delegation. You will continually evaluate performance, build on existing success, and effectively lead change for our staff, volunteers, donors, and customers.

We are looking for a Head of Retail who:

• Has a proven track record of success in leading retail across multiple sites
• Has the ability to develop teams to deliver long term success
• Demonstrates resilience, commercial acumen, entrepreneurial flair
• Has flexible approach to working hours and times, and be willing and able to travel extensively across the region
