At Homebase, Spring and Summer are our busiest times of the year, and when our customers are most inspired to create homes, they love.

During our “peak” season, we always look for additional temporary team members to help us make sure that our customers – whether they’re looking for room inspiration, project help, guidance, or information about the latest products and trends – leave with exactly what they are looking for.

About the role:

Start Date: We have various start dates across March, April, May and June.

Contract: All of our vacancies are part-time and temporary, with hours varying from 4 to 24 hours per week. All our vacancies require that you be available to work both evenings and weekends.

Salary: National Living Wage

Day to Day: You will be helping to make sure our customers have a great experience and helping our stores to stay full, clean, and tidy

What we’re looking for:

If you have experience with retail then GREAT but that’s not essential!

Every day you’ll be speaking with and helping our customers so it’s important that you offer every person that walks through our doors the exceptional customer service they have come to expect from us. That’s why having the right attitude is our most basic requirement.

To us, having the right attitude means always demonstrating your passion and enthusiasm for home and garden and being knowledgeable about our products and stock.
