Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a new team member to join our Reception team at Holiday Inn Derby - Riverlights in the city centre on a casual basis, with an hourly salary of £10.00.

The role:

• You'll officially be known as a Guest Service Assistant (GSA) and you could be the first person a guest meets at our hotel so you’ll need to be friendly, professional and confident
• You'll primarily be working on Reception, greeting and checking guests in and out, answering the phone and assisting with any guests queries or complaints
• You may also turn your hand to helping out in the bar, restaurant or conference facilities

About you:

• You're someone who can really shine in a busy setting, who is comfortable meeting new people and who is passionate about customer service
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not a must. We are looking for the right person to join the team
• Flexibility to work mid and weekend is required as the hotel is a 24/7 operation

Ability to commute/relocate:

• DERBY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• hospitality or hotel: 1 year (preferred)
