Statistician

Hobson Prior are in search of a Statistician to join a HEOR organisation on a permanent basis located in London. Our Client is focused on delivering technical excellence, minimizing complexity, and getting things right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish study protocols, i.e. plans for statistical analysis, defining tables and figures.
• Prepare datasets and perform analyses in accordance with the analysis plan.
• Analysing statistical models developed within the company and for clients for quality assurance.
• Providing clients with updates on data analysis methods, progress, and results.
• Be the client liaison for a project as an assistant to the project leader.

Key Skills:

• A proficient user of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of statistical software.
• The ability to understand survival analysis, generalized linear models, and multilevel models.

Requirements:

• An advanced degree in medical statistics, statistics, or a related field.
• Work experience with large groups of patients or individual-level data.
• Statistical analysis experience within a consultancy, academia, the NHS, or a pharmaceutical or device company is a plus.
• Experience analysing real-world evidence and datasets from the UK (HES, CPRD, etc.).
