Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual to join our clients growing team based in Newcastle. They have a varied client portfolio and deliver work for a range of sectors including financial, legal, health and fitness, beauty, charity and entertainment. You will work with our Head of Search to set strategies for existing and new clients and execute these plans.
The role would be perfect for a recent graduate or someone with a few years of experience in the industry with a passion to learn and develop their skills.
This role will include:
- Carrying out technical audits of clients’ and prospective clients’ websites to identify any harmful links, search accessibility concerns, and other ranking issues, making recommendations.
- Implement the audit recommendations for all on-site SEO factors.
- Performing in-depth keyword research to generate target keywords and terms for clients, making recommendations based on a number of factors.
- Problem-solving SEO issues that may be contributing to poor organic search performance.
- Analysis client search performance and ranking data and understanding cause and effect of different issues from website activity.
- Working directly with clients and colleagues in planning and implementing
SEO campaigns and digital marketing strategies for our clients.
What we are looking for:
- We are looking for someone who is interested in search engine optimisation and digital marketing and is keen to learn on the job to progress in the field.
- Ideal candidate will have a degree or a few years of relevant experience under their belt, but not essential.
- Has an analytical mind and a strong commercial awareness, with strong problem-solving skills and the willingness to own a problem and deliver a solution.
- An ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with a lot of data, and will have knowledge of Universal Analytics, GA4 and Data Studio.
- Experience in dealing with clients and a Content management system preferrable but not essential.
