Maintenance Assistant

At HGI Heathrow we are passionate about crafting, delivering, and creating memorable experiences. We are a 4* star 364-bedroom property with 10 versatile meeting spaces. We are located within an easily commutable distance near Heathrow Airport with good transport connections within walking distance, including Hatton Cross Tube and Bus Station.

Duties include:

• Taking pride in the general maintenance of the property
• Act as the point of contact for all maintenance call outs when required
• Having an in-depth knowledge of the lay out and equipment in the hotel
• Keeping the property looking fresh with painting decorating assignments
• Complete all Preventative maintenance work as assigned by the maintenance manager
• Become a role model by observing all requirements under the Health Safety at Work Act
• Oversee contractors working onsite as and when required
• Conduct regular emergency procedure equipment checks

Our ideal candidate:

• Enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly character
• Good knowledge of basic handyman skills including Painting Decorating
• Previous experience within a hotel environment – preferred
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Willingness to learn new skills
