Junior IT Administrator – Desktop Support

If this sounds like you, then we would like to hear from you. We are Hegarty LLP Solicitors, one of the region’s leading law firms, and we’re looking for an entry level IT Administrator to join our IT Support Team.
In this role you would be responsible for:
- Setting up new computers, users and managing desktop profiles, including:
- Reimage and join to the domain.
- Create new users in Active Directory, Office 365 and EveryCloud.
- Manage Office 365 Mailboxes, amend groups, share and delete mailboxes.
- Create Desktop profiles.
- Create Terminal Server Desktop Profiles and RDPs to enable access from other offices.
- Assisting in the desktop support queries in person or remotely, diagnosing, prioritising, resolving and escalating where necessary, including:
- Resetting network and Office 365 passwords.
- Releasing quarantined Mail.
- Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams.
- The Firm’s Case Management System and associated add-ins
- Digital Dictation
- Maintain the Firm’s iPads.
- Assisting in new hardware and software rollouts.
- Maintaining and updating our telephone system with staff information.
- Installing printer drives, fitting maintenance kits and resolving printer issues.
We believe this would be an ideal role for someone leaving college with A Level IT qualification or having completed the Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship Standard course. What can we offer you?
You’ll be based at our city centre head office in Peterborough with the support and guidance of our experienced IT Administrator and IT Manager.
The hours of work are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
A starting salary of £18,500 with potential to progress.
25 days holiday in addition to Bank Holidays
