Job summary
We are a forward thinking organisation and are looking to recruit a theatre health care assistant who is highly motivated and open to change.
Our theatres cover a wide range of specialities including General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery elective and Trauma, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Urology, ENT & Max Fax, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Dental including. We also provide 24 hour emergency cover for the island and its residents.
The role will support the theatre practitioner and surgeon during surgery, organisation of equipment, stock control and contributing to safety processes within the theatre environment.

The successful candidate will be accountable, expected to work within a multi-professional team, liaising with and providing high quality care for patients. You will need to possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Ensure adherence to agreed local, organisational and national policies. Some rotation and flexibility will be required to meet service needs.
The post holder will be expected to participate in internal rotation into theatres, weekends, nights and unsocial hours. Starting salary will depend upon experience and starts at £28,923.87 per year. You can visit www.visitjersey.com
