Position Overview & Specifications
Job – Senior CT/General Radiographer
Location – London Bridge Hospital, London
Hours- Full Time/Permanent -Monday to Friday with shifts between 8am-8pm (with weekend requirements & on-call)
Salary – £42,000 - £48,000 + access to great employee benefits on top of private healthcare, Gymflex and the option to buy and sell further holiday days.
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join our excellent team in CT, General X-ray & Theatres at London Bridge Hospital. The successful post holder will be responsible for delivering a high standard of diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.
Duties & responsibilities
- Skilfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
- Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
- To rotate between areas as required.
- Assist in staff orientation and training.
- Accept and perform non-radiographic duties that are intrinsic to the day to day running of the department, e.g. make appointments, answer the telephone and perform office duties.
Skills and Experience
- Degree educated in Diagnostic Imaging or similar
- HCPC registered
- Experience in Plain Film & CT scanning
- UK-based experience within Radiology
