Full Time Nanny Housekeeper in Leigh On Sea

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is currently seeking a reliable Nanny Housekeeper for a happy and relaxed family based in Leigh On Sea , Essex with two children - a 9-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, as well as a new baby due in July.

The family requires a nanny housekeeper who can manage both childcare and household duties with ease and can ensure a safe and nurturing environment for their children. The family's current nanny is leaving to have a baby, so they are used to having a nanny around and are looking for someone who can fill in the position.

Responsibilities :

• Standard Nanny Duties helping with homework, planning fun activities, being creative
• Occasional admin duties
• General household cleaning and tidying
• Laundry
• Cooking/help in the kitchen
• School runs
• Food Shopping
• Errand running (post office, dry cleaning)

The children enjoy swimming in the family pool, playing in the garden, going to the beach, and soft play. Therefore, the nanny should be able to engage in indoor and outdoor activities, as well as supervise the children's safety at all times.

The family has a friendly miniature cockapoo and 2 cats, so the nanny should also be comfortable with pets.

Hours: The job requires the nanny to work Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 5.30 pm with some flexibility around this

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of childcare experience
• Valid Enhanced DBS check- on the update service agency can assist
• Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Full Driving Licence with own vehicle in good working order

Salary - £12.00 - £14.00 gross per hour depending on experience .

The family's work is demanding, and they require a reliable nanny who can work independently, be punctual, and who understands the demands of family life. The nanny should be proactive, have excellent communication skills, and be an integral part of the family. The family also employ a cleaner to look after their family home.
