We are currently looking for a responsible and diligent individual to join our Compliance department in London.

About the role

Reporting to the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Compliance Team in delivering the company compliance plan. The purpose of this role is to provide in-house compliance support. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.


Your responsibilities

  • Support and assist the Compliance Officer with day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc projects .
  • Maintaining various compliance registers and programmes .
  • Assisting with responding to regulatory, compliance and AML queries from the business .
  • Assisting with the completion of customer due diligence and KYC process for clients .
  • Assist reviewing and updating policies and procedures and disseminate information to management and employees.
  • Conduct an analysis of information pertaining to various compliance-related functions and regulations, as directed by the Compliance Officer
  • Prepare and present a summary of findings to the Compliance Officer for review.
  • Providing general administrative support to the compliance department.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Your profile

  • Recent graduate with some knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and previous compliance experience would be beneficial.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to conduct productive communication and to effectively present oral and written communications.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks and to work to tight timescales.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to work both independently using their own initiative and within a team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate punctuality and good attendance.
  • Ability to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of developing the role.
  • Proficient in computer programs, such as word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
