We are currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa at Hand Picked Hotels.

Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa is a 4 Star Hotel with 60 bedrooms, a 2 Rosette restaurant and a Health Club & Spa. We offer a range of Spa treatments, fitness facilities and classes.

This role is offered on a 24 hour per contract over 3 days any additonal hours worked would be paid, this is a permenant position.

About the role:

We are looking for a Fitness Instructor to join our Health Club team at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa either on a part time or full time basis.

You’ll help our members smash their health goals whether you’re delivering one-to-one or group training sessions. As well as the customer-facing side of things, you’ll also be shown how to keep our equipment and swimming pool safe and in tip top condition.

The hours for this position will involve working a mixture of shifts, earlies from 6am, lates until 10pm and weekends on a rota basis.

This role will involve a combination of fitness duties such as Gym inductions and covering group fitness classes in our Functional Training Zone, Personal Training, helping to keep our facilities and changing rooms clean and in good working order, as well covering the reception desk and helping to welcome our members.

About you:

• You’ll have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent fitness qualification, and ideally have recent experience in a similar role
• You will be full of enthusiasm and love talking to people (regardless of whether it’s a morning or evening shift!)
• You’ll enjoy motivating others and feel confident acting as an expert to give suitable advice on health and fitness that will match peoples individual goals and aspirations
• Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming and positive approach
• You will live locally to the hotel, or within a reasonable commute
