Hairdresser/Colour Specialist

This position is for a Self Employed/Freelance hairdresser/colour specialist to join us on a Rent-a-Chair basis.

We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team in West Bridgford's newest salon, in our prime location. Joining our salon owner with over 10 years of experience, as well as 5 other experienced professionals in the industry (offering a range of different beauty treatments and services, from lashes to aesthetics), we are currently offering a space that will allow the candidate to have independence, while working as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, with an established client base, be self-motivated, independent and keen to take control of their working life, whilst still enjoying the benefits of working in a salon environment.

Whether you have experience working in a salon and are looking for a change of environment, wanting to go from employed to self employed to earn more, or are looking to move away from mobile work, we'd love to hear from you.

Days: 2 - 5 days per week

Minimum requirement for part-time: 2 days a week
- Alternate Saturday's available - (when paired with 2 week days minimum)

We can offer 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.

Salon Opening Times:

Open from 8.30am-5.30pm (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Open from 8.30am-8.30pm (Wednesday)

As a self-employed person, hours are completely flexible and you would not be expected to be at the salon when clients are not booked in.

Experience:

- Must be fully-qualified to a level 2 standard (minimum): required
- 2 years experience: preferred
- Own client base or knowledge/motivation to grow one: required
- Must be able to provide images/basic portfolio of work
