Factory Operative

H & J Speake is a family owned manufacturer of Zinc & Aluminium Die Castings. Operating from a single site in Willenhall we service a number of the UK’s market leaders across various industries.

We are looking for somebody to join our team as a Factory Operative.

The position involves:

- Operating Zinc high pressure die casting machines to produce parts for various industries.

- Handling of molten Zinc & Aluminium (full PPE provided).

- Cleaning machines after production each day.

- Inspecting parts which are produced to ensure they are of good quality.

- Secondary operation work when required (drilling, tapping, pressing etc)

- Packing when required.

- Other adhoc factory duties

Requirements:

- Previous die casting experience preferred but not essential.

- Previous experience working in a factory essential.

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Physically fit

- Good spoken English

Hours are 7.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am - 4.30pm Friday. No Shift work. No Weekend work.
