About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assistant to join our team, based in Dewsbury. Working within an everchanging busy environment for a leading carpet manufacturer in the UK.
The role would include assisting the Quality Control Manager and the continual development of the Quality Control Department.
Role responsibilities:
· Cutting Samples, Checking Oil and water Levels.
· Checking/Copying Pre-inspection survey and Picking sheets.
· Daily Latex Checks.
· Imputing into system daily Latex checks and recording the temperature strips.
· Checking the daily production are to specification.
· Checking, Daily production samples for customers.
· Update daily waste and sales sheets.
· Sending reports and claims to suppliers for any Quality control issues.
· Assist in product development of sampling and labels.
· Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Role requirements:
· Experience in Quality Control is desirable but not essential.
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to communicate across all modern platforms
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Strong analytical ability
· Outstanding attention to detail
What we offer:
· Full-time, permanent role
· Working hours Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 4.45pm and Friday 09.00am to 15.45pm, with a 1-hour lunch break each day
· £12.50 Per hour.
· 30 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays),
· Free on-site parking
