Car Park Operative

Car Park Attendant GroupNexus – Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

GroupNexus are a forward-thinking and innovative parking services operator which prides itself on providing customers with excellent levels of customer service across all its branches.

We currently have a position for a Car Park Attendant to join our friendly team at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

Term time contract 36 weeks per year plus holiday and sickness cover.

Usual shift Monday- Friday 08:30 x 12:30

The role:

The successful candidate must be reliable and sustain a very high level of customer satisfaction/service, whilst maintaining a clean and secure parking environment, Patrol the various car parks regularly to ensure a safe operating environment for visitors to the site.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the car parks at the University so Customer service experience, a calm manner and a friendly face is a must.

As a Car Park Attendant you will resolve customer’s concerns, implement traffic control measures, issue parking charge notices in line with the British Parking Association (BPA) on behalf of the University whilst maintaining the prescribed standards of quality and safety within the designated areas.

Carry out any other tasks as required meeting operational requirements.

Experience: No Experience Required - Training will be provided

Basic computer knowledge required.

• Must be smart and presentable (Uniform will be provided)
• Have a good level of fitness
• Be able to work alone or in a team
• Be trustworthy
• Ensure provided COVID PPE is used at all times
• Must be flexible in working hours to cover leave/sickness.
