Great Bear is a leading 3rd party logistics business providing a wide range of ambient warehousing services, shared-user and dedicated transport solutions to a wide variety of customers alongside offering a flexible mix of added-value services to simplify supply chain. We operate over 7 million sq.ft. of warehousing space across 30+ locations in the UK. Our distribution network spans all corners of the country.

Our Dagenham site are now recruiting for a Customer Service Clerk on a full time basis.

Salary:£25,500 Per annum

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00


Job Description


The purpose of a Customer Service Administrator is to support the day to day administration of the customer service function , offering outstanding client support in a fast paced friendly environment and providing a continuous professional and dedicated service.

Key Duties of a Customer Service Administrator:

  • Control the timely and accurate receipt of sales orders, ensuring they are available to the warehouse and stock team within agreed timeframes
  • Key manual orders onto SAP, ensuring a 5 point check is completed for each order processed
  • Logging customer discrepancies in to SAP,
  • Inventory management and quality control, avoiding mis-rotation of stocks, holding and releasing stocks from and to various quarantine status’ upon request
  • Ensure a positive client experience through high quality service and communication thereby attaining client retention
  • Communicate with internal teams to achieve query resolution for clients
  • Organising delivery/collection times with Drivers

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role (ideally within a major distribution operation)
  • Experience using SAP advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Effectively prioritising work load in order to meet set deadlines
  • Customer Service driven, in order to maintain a high level of customer focus
  • Computer literate particularly with MS Word, Outlook and Excel
