About us:
Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.

The role:
The Director of Estates will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the College’s estate and facility support activities including Health and Safety and the College’s capital programme.
- Full Time - 37 hours per week
- Permanent post
- circa £60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on, develop and implement the College Estates Strategy.
- Long-term comprehensive and integrated physical resource planning for the College, its faculties and departments.
- Management of all aspects of the College’s estate and facility support activities including Health and Safety.
- Planning and organising of resources in support of key strategic capital projects.
About you:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
- Sound understanding of the legal and financial aspects of major property projects
- Experience of working at a management level in a large complex organisation
- Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
