Counter / Restaurant staff

Godfrey’s is a family run fish and chips takeaway and restaurant serving some of the very best fish and chips in the UK.

We're hiring for takeaway counter staff and restaurant table waiting staff.
No experience necessary – full training is given.

The role will include:

• Opening checks and preparation
• Taking orders
• Customer interaction
• Serving Orders
• Checking back with customers
• Cleaning down
• Washing up

You will need to have a logical approach to things and not be afraid of hard work - we have a great team, where everyone contributes. We build our team around people who want to come to work and feel like they have acheived something everyday, if you want somewhere you can come and kill time this isn't the role for you. For the right person, hours are flexible but we’re looking for help up to 6 days a week (closed Sunday) between 10:30 and 22:00. We use fixed shifts each week, no rotas, although there's always extra shifts should you want them.

This is a permenant role - not just for the summer, and will invovle afternoon hours so not suited to those still at school.

Salary: £10.00-£16.00 per hour
