Furnace Offloader - 06:00 - 14:00

At Glasscraft we specialise in glass processing and the manufacture of quality sealed units. Based in Yorkshire, we have 2 glass factories.

Leeds factory- We produce quality sealed units over 3 shifts per day including double and triple glazed, leaded units and Georgian bar units.

Wakefield factory- This is where all of our processed and decorative glass is produced. Wakefield factory also manufacture sealed units with internal blinds fitted into them

We offer competitive rates of pay for those who do have experience, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Toughening of flat glass- to include furnace operation/loading and unloading /arising glass- this will be the main role for the successful candidate but other duties may include:
• Manufacturing Double Glazed Sealed Units both on automatic lines and hand gunning
• Flat glass handling and insulated glass unit handling
• Checking quality and standard of glass
• Preparing glass ready for collection/dispatch

Experience is not essential but would be an advantage.

Salary to be discussed based on previous furnace experience.
