Enhancement and Student Partnership Coordinator (0.8 FTE)

Location, Glasgow
Grade 6 - £34,308.00 – £39,745.00 per annum, pro rata
Fixed term – 12 months (maternity cover)
Working in partnership with the Deputy Director (Academic), Learning and Teaching Team and GSA’s Students’ Association you will coordinate and enhance GSA’s approach to student partnership working, taking a leading role in the recruitment, induction and ongoing support of student representatives. You will have experience of enhancing student engagement and fostering partnership working between staff and students, providing training, support and guidance.
You will act as secretary to a number of GSA committees and groups ensuring their smooth and effective operation including the Learning and Teaching Group and Student Partnership Group.
Within the role, and in collaboration with the Learning and Teaching Team you will support the development, delivery and evaluation of a range of enhancement projects, reporting as required to institutional committees and groups.
You will be educated to degree level and have experience of working in Higher Education and student engagement. You will also have experience of supporting and managing committees and project, producing reports and gathering and analysis evaluative evidence.
You will have the ability to manage a demanding and varied workload, be able to effectively plan and organise work within tight timescales, with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail. The ability to assimilate information in various formats and experience of Microsoft Office are also essential.
