IT ASSISTANT - OVERVIEW
We need an exceptional and passionate IT Assistant to join our IT team based out of our London HQ in Soho by Piccadilly Circus. If you have a genuine desire to be part of something big then your journey should start here.

And now this top 50 most innovative global company (did we mention that?) wants a pretty awesome IT Assistant for our Generator Head Office, based out of Piccadilly Circus in Soho, one of London's most popular tourist destinations.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Respond to user service requests, problem troubleshooting and resolution
• Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system, server operating system and application software
• Operational experience in AD, O365, GPO and basic network troubleshooting
• Support end-users as part of the business IT Service Desk
• Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs
• Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors
• Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses
• Manage user account lifecycle process (creation/amend/deletion)
• Monitor backup systems and procedures to ensure data security
• Record issues, activities, solutions and other responses to request for service
• Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment
• Perform basic administrative support duties and documentation as required
• Contribute to Generators technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development and administration
• Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use
• Provide technical support for basic network troubleshooting and escalation to Infrastructure
• Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned
• Salary depending on experience
• The role is based working 4 days from London HQ in Soho and 1 from the office

• Fluent in written and spoken English and one additional language would be desirable
• You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working in a similar capacity
• Hotel/Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
