Restful Homes Group – Gainsborough Hall is currently on the lookout for Kitchen Assistants at our beautiful home based in Leamington Spa.

Our Care Home provides 74 spacious bedroom suites providing the highest quality of care to older residents of Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas who require Residential, Nursing and Dementia care.

The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and maintaining a clean environment for the safe production of beverages and meals in support of the catering function, to ensure a high quality and comprehensive care service is delivered to residents. Shifts are 4 days out of 7.

Job Responsibilities -

· Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-balance, attractive meals in accordance with Service User’s individual needs

· Handle and store food in accordance with Food Hygiene Regulations

· Use cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH Regulations

· Clean all work surfaces, equipment, fridges, ovens and floors and stores items correctly

· Ensure store room is well organised and clean

· Wash crockery and cutlery or stacks dishwasher

· These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence

Requirements:

• Current DBS on the online update service would be an advantage.
