Delivery Driver/Drivers Mate

Furnished Homes is a family run contract furniture company which has been established for over 25 years. Due to rapid expansion we are looking to recruit a new Driver and Drivers Mates to join our friendly team based in Yate, Bristol

We are seeking a Driver and Drivers Mates to join us on a temporary 3 months full-time contract, with a salary of £27,912 for the Driver and £24,710 for the Drivers Mate per annum based on a 48 hour week. There is the possibility that this could lead to a permanent position.

This is not your normal delivery role - it is a very physical role and you will need be physically fit as well as quick witted and good at problem solving. It is essential that you have some DIY skills as installation and assembly will be required. You may eventually be required to accurately measure rooms for carpets, curtains and blinds, although training will be provided.

Working hours can be long with early starts (6am) and/or late finishes, a flexible approach is essential, as is the ability to get to our premises in Yate without relying on public transport due to the start / finish times.
