Position Overview & Specifications

Description


The Administration Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Insurance Litigation department and the wider Commercial teams based at our Birmingham offices with a range of administrative tasks.
Day to day reporting will be to Anthony Carrington, Partner & Head of Insurance Litigation.
This role is full time, office based at our Birmingham office on Bennetts Hill.


Key Responsibilities


  • Scanning in hard copy post onto the CRM systems for all departments.
  • Data entry tasks to include file opening and setting up new matters via the CRM system.
  • Copy typing of witness statements.
  • Photocopying, preparing and sending bundles to Counsel.
  • Putting up of post.
  • Answering internal and external telephone calls.
  • File closing for various departments/
  • Prepare from dictation, verbal or written instructions correspondence and documents as required.
  • Meeting our visitors to the Birmingham offices, ensuring guests are shown to their meeting rooms and provided with refreshments.
  • Daily post runs on behalf of all the Birmingham teams.
  • Ordering of office supplies including stationary, refreshments and any other supplies required for the Birmingham offices.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information.
  • Work actively within your department to create a good working atmosphere and to provide a first-class service to all fee earners and clients.
  • Ensure that all SRA/ ISO and departmental procedures that are relevant to your role are followed and complied with.
