Care Assistant

We are a small residential care home (max of 24 beds) in Marston Magna, nr Yeovil and we would like a motivated,dedicated Care Assistant to join our small team. We are looking for someone that really wants to make a difference to the lives of our older people. We pride ourselves on carrying out the best possible care to promote the well being of our residents and it is important to us that you will want to do the same.

We are ideally looking for an individual with a NVQ/Diploma level 2 in Health and Social Care or a minimum of one years experiemce in care provision. The ability to administer medication would be advantageous but is not essential. .

We are looking at employing someone on a part time or full time basis and this will include alternate weekends. £1.00 an hour is also paid extra for weekend hours.

Our shift patterns are 8.00am-3.00pm, 1pm-8pm and 2.30pm-9.30pm, you would be expected to work a combination of the three to ensure we have the correct staffing levels for our Residents.

You will require your own transport as we are just outside of Yeovil and unfortunately the bus timetable to Marston Magna is not suitable for shift patterns.
