Position Summary:


Shifts: 1500-0000

We have an opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our management team at FedEx Cross Border based in Slough.

As an Operations Supervisor you will lead and motivate a team of handlers.

Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Ensuring the effective performance of the shift in line with site targets and KPI's
  • Ensure that high levels of internal and external customer care are maintained through clear and precise communication (Written & Verbal)
  • Support all performance management cycle
  • Ensure that all HASAWA Legislation/Security Procedures are adhered to and that good housekeeping is maintained
  • Manage, train and develop your team for continuous improvement or succession through coaching, delegation and feedback
  • Adhering and gatekeeping FedEx's policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills:
  • Excellent people management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
  • Be self-motivated, results and target orientated
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload , with excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to work in a busy environment
