Position Overview & Specifications

Are you a Business Information / Intelligence Developer with proven ability to take leaders and colleagues alike on the BI journey, making the complex simple and understandable. Join the Evri Finance Operations team!

In this role you will develop and maintain our financial operations data and reporting architecture. Through robust control and data collection processes, APIs and automation solutions, you’ll build trust and efficiency into the provision of our data and produce crystal clear performance visualisations / scorecards. You will help set our data strategy and roadmap, providing advice, and thought leadership to the Head of Central Operations Finance and Director of Operations Finance.

You will be accountable for:

  • Lead the development of a clear data and reporting vision for Operations Finance, including future systems and capability requirements
  • Create a clear and appropriate roadmap, which provides a route to delivering against the strategy in the next 2-3 years
  • Work with the Finance Business Partnering teams, scope and deliver improvements to our visualisations, standard reporting and develop scorecards / league tables, to drive improved performance
  • Create and maintain accurate reporting, data and KPI catalogues, with clear data ownership and full documentation of our calculations and data sources
  • Improve the quality and accuracy of our data through process re-engineering at source, improving the number of plumbed data feeds through APIs and creating automated validation and error trapping
  • Create tools for our business partners to analyse at pace in visualisation environments.

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience working within the data and reporting field
  • Chartered accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) is preferable but not required in all instances
  • UK Driving Licence
  • You will have development experience within Power BI and Power Query / Automate, Python, and SQL
  • A full understanding of current BI working practices, including User Story methodology and agile / waterfall implementation approaches.

  • Support and empower teams in the development of a standardised, consistent and effective approaches
  • Able to nurture and maintain durable and effective relationships at all levels
  • Adopt a collaborative approach to working and problem solving.
