Trainee coatings and Lining Engineer

Specialist Lining Services Limited – A Eurotank Service Group Company are looking at taking on a Trainee Linings & Coating Engineer on a full-time basis to join our already hardworking team of Site Linings & Coating Engineers.

We are looking for a person who is interested in a rewarding Career who will receive full training in working in Confined Spaces, Water Hygiene & ICATS, As a preference we are looking for those with someone who is keen to start a new career in the in the industry.

Those with CSCS & Site working experience is desirable although we welcome candidates from all backgrounds & full training will be given.

Our Work is based all around the United Kingdom so most of our work involves working away for 5 Days at a time, weekends are also required on occasions dependent on workload. Please do not apply for the role if you’re not prepared to work away from home.

Most of our works involves working in High risk Confined Spaces such as Bulk Fuel Tanks, Septic Tanks & Solvent Tank Farms.

We are a company with a great reputation in the industry with Quality & Safety at the forefront of all our work.

We carry out the Following works in Above & below ground Storage Tanks, roofs, swimming pools and Secondary Containment areas.

Abrasive Blasting

Glass Reinforced Plastic Linings

Airless Spray Solvent Free Epoxies

Solvent Free Polyurethanes

Plural Hot Sprayed Polyurea’s

We are looking for those who reside locally to our works (sensible drivable distance) to our works Unit which is based in Sudbury Suffolk. Those who live locally to Sudbury who don’t drive are still able to apply for the role.

The Job is physically demanding so ideally you need to be physically fit, you will also be required to wear PPE supplied by ourselves all the time when carrying out our Lining & Coatings works which will include face fitted respiratory equipment and Powered air respirators.
