Waiting Staff

At Estabulo we prepare all of our dishes in an authentic manner to give you the true taste of Brazilian Rodizio. Estabulo honours the Brazilian Gaucho’s traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.

This method of cooking also means that all the meat is served fresh to the customers table, straight from the grill. Our unlimited dining concept sees customers enjoy as much meat, fresh salads and sides as they like, at a set price. As well as our main menus, we also have a selection of Vegetarian, Halal and Fish dishes on offer.

Estabulo’s beautiful restaurant interior, and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night. We are looking to recruit Waiting Staff to join our friendly team in Durham.

Job Purpose:

As Waiting Staff, you are responsible for serving our amazing customers. Your duties include welcoming customers, answering questions related to the menu, delivering orders and processing payments.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure an amazing experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities:

• Greeting customers as they settle down at Estabulo restaurant tables and introducing them to the menus
• Taking the customers’ orders and delivering them to the kitchen staff for preparation
• Confirming that the food items match the orders and delivering them at the tables
• Inquiring if the customers are satisfied, giving bills and processing payments
• Operating the drink fountain and coffee station
• Attending regular meetings with restaurant and kitchen managers to find out about menu changes and menu specials

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Attention to details and the ability to work fast under pressure
• Honesty and ability to handle transactions in a trustworthy manner
• Having familiarity with local alcohol restrictions and laws
• Excellent customer service skills

Contract type: Zero-hour Contract

Reports to: Shift Manager

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.42-£12.00 per hour
