Company Background
Envisuals is a video production company based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. We produce films and animations for the public sector, corporations and charities.

Our day-to-day work involves editing and animation work in our studio in Bradford, and filming on location around the UK. We’re a fun, friendly and flexible place to work, and try to make work as enjoyable as possible, while delivering a top-notch service to our clients.

We’re looking for an Video Production Assistant to join our team. You’re main responsibilities will be to assist on editing both filmed and animated videos as well as some adhoc administrative tasks. There’s an opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a quick paced environment with the support of senior members of the team.

What the role will involve
You’ll be based at our studio in Bradford. Because we’re a small company, you’ll be undertaking a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You may have just finished film school, or are early on in your career, perhaps looking to gain some experience in a real working environment.

● Assisting on editing video content in Premier Pro, to ensure each video is of top quality. This part of the role may include adding subtitles, making amendments, rough cutting footage, colour grading etc. Depending on experience and over time, we may ask you to edit a full video from start to finish.

● Assisting on animation work in After Effects. This part of the role may include, adding subtitles, making amendments, taking responsibility for smaller animation projects from start to finish. Over time, there may be opportunity to take ownership of a whole animation project from start to finish.

● Adhoc administrative tasks such as research.

Training
We expect you to have a certain level of experience working in After Effects and Premier
Pro but we will provide on the job training and an opportunity to learn and develop.
If there is specific training you would like, we are always happy to discuss it with you.

We’re looking for somebody who....
● Can work to deadlines in an efficient manner
● Can dedicate a couple of days a week to Envisuals on a freelance on-going basis
● Has a good understanding of After Effects and Premier Pro but willing and wanting to develop and learn
● Happy to work for a small company in a friendly supportive environment
● Hard working and happy to get stuck in to different projects and tasks as they come up
● Willing to have a go at tasks outside your comfort zone/ skill set
● Can do, positive attitude
