Civil / Structural Designer X3

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Carry out civil and structural design work in line with client and project requirements. Design work will be carried out from initial concept work through to detailed design and build.
• Work alongside other disciplines to develop the design in keeping with the needs of other services and equipment.

• Supporting the Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the production of the Civil and Structural designs on a large-scale chemical project.
• Interpret general arrangement drawings, scopes of work and develop them into engineering designs

For Contractors –

We will be offering industry leading rates of pay – dependent on experience. The role has been assessed as ‘outside IR35’ for Ltd company workers but we can also accommodate PAYE or Umbrella workers. This will be a long term assignment which can lead onto further projects for the right people.

What we are looking for in you –

• 7+ years experience within civil / structural design.
• Experience of working alongside a team of engineers and being able to progress and develop the design work in line with the needs of the team.
• Experience of working within chemical, oil & gas or process sectors would be preferable but not essential, as would top tier COMAH knowledge.
