A popular Special Needs School located in Manchester are looking to hire a Psychology Graduate to work with students with autism for the academic year.
- Group support for students with ASD
- Large school located in Manchester
- Full-time, long-term position starting ASAP
- Experienced SENCO available for support
- Ongoing training and development
The ideal Teaching Assistant will support students with ASD in several classes and subjects. It is important that you have had some experience of working with students on the autistic spectrum and understand the patience needed to provide excellent support.
The school are an experienced team, and you will work alongside a supportive and knowledgeable SEN team who will further your professional knowledge and development throughout the academic year.
The school is located in Tameside and is easily accessible via public transport (bus and train). In 2017, the school was deemed 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is a platform for ambitious teachers and education psychologists looking to increase their classroom experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience within:
- Youth Work
- Sports coaching
- Graduates in Sport, Psychology, and Counselling and Therapy

· Psychology and Sociology graduates
